Rita Austin (PhD Candidate) publishes a paper in PNAS!

Rita Austin (PhD Candidate) just published a paper in PNAS. Her paper addresses the ethical issues revolving around the study of anthropological collections within museums. Museum staffs worldwide are continuing to be inundated with requests by researchers to conduct destructive analyses. Austin strongly urges researchers and museum curators to have an open dialogue about establishing requirements and policies moving forward. Doing so will be extremely beneficial to aDNA research as a whole.
